Hi here is the specification of my computer. It runs games well but I feel it is becoming a bit outdated.
AMD Anthlon X2 240 processor at 2.8GHz (2 Cores)
Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit operating system
2048 MB RAM available.
ATI Radeon 5770 1GB Graphics Card.
ASRock N68C-S UCC Motherboard.
What could I upgrade in terms of processor and RAM to make it feel that bit smoother.
Thanks in advance and good advice will receive REP.

A quad core processor as it is now the average level of what gamers are playing on and companies are making games more quad core compatible. Processor that can run at least 3.3-3.6GHz just as that is the standard these days.
I would suggest moving up to about 4GB RAM, minimum. If your motherboard can handle it that is. If not you will need a new motherboard as well.
And for the full 4GB of RAM to be used you will need to upgrade to a 64bit OS, they can easily be downloaded free.
And your Graphics card is a bit outdated but with other upgrades should still be able to run most games.
