You need to buy thermal paste, your MB overheated I think. there should be a tut somewhere on the forums or on Google.

You get e71 from failed dashboard updates or bad updates just remove your files on the flash drive and it should boot up like normal (thats what i did when my jasper got it)

the lack of knowledge is far beyone what i imagineed for a gaming/modding site.
e79 is the error, not e71--> or overheating...
is it jtagged have you resoldered your wires? checked if your using corrected smc?
could be hardware check periphiles such as hdd, remove them all.

I am right there with you mafia
lol
It can also need a falcon freeboot image if you are jtaging it for the first time yourself. Also try a 330 ohm resistor for the jumper wire.

The E79 error is an unknown error. It could be anything from a bad flash to motherboard hardware failure. Also just a quick note, if you have any development files like default.xex on the root of your usb, it can cause the E79. Hope I helped.

Hope I helped.Stop trying to answer these question you have been dead wrong on every post you have made. E79 is always caused by the jtag hack it will never be hardware if it was a unknown hardware failure then it would give you the secondary error code of 00000000010. The root of the usb with a xex will cause e71 not e79
