well i have a 2006 100cc 4 stroke lifan dirt bike (its Chinese) and i had recently changed the grips and throttle housing and cable for it because it snapped. when i put the new one on and started the bike up i went to give it gas and nothing happened...? when i twist the throttle to rev it up nothing happens, but you can hear the part in the carburator moving up and down.

Please help me if anyone knows what the problem is or any suggestions i could try. Please and Thank You!!!

while its not running, take the needle out of the carb and try the throttle. if it moves then try putting some wd40 or something like that in the housing. if that doesnt work i would say take the carb apart and clean it.

what is the grip wire?

and it only has one cord i think which is the throttle cable that you put into the housing part and the carburator.

is there cables or wires inside the carb to?

Grip wire keeps the grips inplace when you rev. Do you have throttle centring sensors?
