This is my 2nd 360 and is my modding one, and the usb that i do have is configured to my other xbox. When i go to my storage setting my usb doesnt even come up to configure it

Your USB is probably not supported or u probably must format it

plug it into your xbix 360 on the dashboard scroll to settings> system>storage and you should see hard drive then under hard drive it should say configure USB hit configure USB and there will be two options configure or custom . and they when done configure there will be two options now hard drive and usb

Plug the usb to your computer, then go to computer, right click on the usb then klick format, and format it to FAT32 then plug it in to your xbox go to system setting > memory > and its should come up.

put your usb into your pc, make it so your pc can see hidden files, google search ' how to see hidden files ' once you done that there will be an old hidden file in your usb called xbox or something, just delete it and then plug it in to your other xbox and it should be ok. this is how I do it
