Hi Guys,
Im from the UK and have the best possible internet connection in my house which is BT Infinity.
The problem im having is that the connection is perfect for downloading and streaming videos on my laptop, but when it comes to playing the xbox: i have a wireless adapter plugged into the back of my xbox and it says that i have a 4 bar (full) signal from my internet, but i keep getting disconnected from xbox randomly and when i play games online all it does is lag like hell and sometimes it even disconnects me from the game.
Also my brother uses the same connection whilst playing on his PS3 and he has had no problems at all with his connection.
Does anyone know what this problem is down to and how to fix it?
Its really starting to frustrate me.

Might be:
ISP
Try disconnecting then refind it on your xbox and re connect
or
could try port forwarding

Have you tried reconnecting it after unplugging?

I have rest my hub and tested my xbox live connect about 100 times.

Captain-Sparklez wrote I had a similar problem before with our connection, it used to disconnect every hour and it really frustrated me when I was doing well on MW2 and BOOM! Disconnected.
My advice I can give you is to go into your router settings, and make sure everything looks in check and your nat type is OPEN.
If nothing seems to work try ringing up your internet company through support, or get someone to do that for you.
Its really annoying. Were you lagging in game?
And, how do you check your router settings?
