With that high of a budget, you can do so many different builds that the possibilities are almost endless. But I'd highly suggest not spending that much money on a PC since the chances are you don't have 4+ screens to even max out one 690, nevermind two....especially if all you want to play is generic mainstream FPS games. Look at this way, if you spend $1500 on a wicked build now, and use it for 3-4 years, with the $2,000 you saved from not going overkill, you can build another build to replace the already 4 year old build - it's a fantastic investment. Give me your main purpose of this rig, games you're wanting to play, where you live so I can link the appropriate sites, and if you need, and I mean need any peripherals. Building it yourself is a good starting platform I can guarantee.
