You can get confused between a BenQ drive and a Lite-On drive because both have the same disk tray.
To tell the difference take of the faceplate on your xbox and there should be a hole, shine a light on it and look inside. If you see yellow wires then you have a Lite-On Drive if you have white wires or any other than yellow then you must have a BenQ drive.

I've got a bemq drive and it didn't work I've got good iso's soo I dunno cos I tried it loads :/ oh and you missed out the part about having a Manual read setting

if it isnt working for you then you dont have a benq drive
