So, I have an arcade xbox. My disk tray wouldn't close yesterday and today I woke up and tried to get on. I tried everything, pressing the buttons, going online, flipping it over. All that BS. Well, this morning I got on youtube and tried it. I looked at all the views with 1000s and stuff, but nothing worked. So this video that had like 80 views, told me to what to do! It actually worked!! Here's what to do:

1. Take disk out and place xbox vertically

2. Press the eject button so it closes, but as soon as you press it, press in on the disk tray as its closing pretty hard. Don't worry, you're not going to break (not as further as it probably is).

3. Hold it closed until the game gets done reading.

4. Let go of the disk tray.

5. You're welcome!

No I know that most of you are like "Well, sure but that'll never work!" Okay, maybe. If not, then tell me what all you've tried and what your xbox is doing.

If this worked, thank the topic! Thanks guys, hope this helped!

True, but that ruins your warranty. Plus, this way is alot easier and you don't risk breaking anything.

Plus people may not have the required tools or experience opening their xbox.

Or you could ruin your warranty, risk breaking it, and not use this SUPER simple way of doing it.

That too.
