I fail to see how they can steal an account that way, "could have proxy my i.p" isn't making much sense to me.

Get 3 previous passwords (If you remember the first than you almost are garrunteed to get it back)
Put your internet provider in (You should know this, who do you pay each month, or your parents)
Put in around when you made the account
Put in your old recoveries in the extra info box
and Put your email in anyways.
I garuntee you that you will get your account back and if you don't then your just trying to beg.
Done it many times. Quit this game but when I did I could give my account away for 2+ years and get it back within a day.

You can't change the email instantly unless you change it on your email as well.
Also recovery questions take 14 days to be changed, there is no way of getting round it.
