i need help i have 250pound and all i need the computer for is to play minecraft and record the occasional video from xbox ? any help

doing that is effort and i need it really soon i could probably get 300 by the end of the week but my laptop im on right now is breaking apart

Desktops are way more powerful and reliable. Laptops may last you only 4-6 years. Desktops are durable and will work and meet your expectations for a longer period of time. I recommend getting a desktop pc, unless you like the mobility of a laptop.

Really Depends On Your Preference,
With A Laptop Its More Portable, Although Is Upgradable Except The Ram And HDD(In Most Cases), Laptop Are Mainly Dual Core, So You Need To Think On Performance You Will Need, I Love My Laptop, And I Like The Fact I Can Move Around With It, Although I Do Video Editing, So I Need A PC
Desktop Is More The Gaming, Dealing With Video And Graphics, Although I Agree With xGFX, If Your Reassembly Know Your Stuff, Build Your Own, You Can Get A i5 And A Decent Graphics Card, For Around 400, And In 3/4 Years Time When Tech Moves On A Bit, You Can Upgrade For Around 200, Depending On The Future And What You Want.

every PC gets obsolete after 3-5 years of it.
with a laptop after it being obsolete theres nothing you can do.
while with PC, theres upgrade and change...
personal preference after 3 laptops, went to PC,loved it
