I have kind of an idea that maybe some other people have had too. I bought the new Turtle Beach x12s here recently and they have given me so much trouble and it is disappointing. That is where I got this idea of possibly using an iPhone as a voice chat communicator on Xbox Live. I was wanting to ask if anybody thinks it might be possible to make an app to use the iPhone speaker or headphones to chat with other players in Game/Party Chat. I just thought it would be sick to make an app like that. I was thinking about if it would be possible to connect the iPhone's Bluetooth with the console or controller to chat. I think it would make a lot of people, excluding some (Microsoft), happy because I have spent a lot of money on headsets just to have them break or mess up. Just comment or PM me some input or help if you have any! Thanks!!!

It's possible, but not exactly practical, it would suck holding your phone up to your head, and if you used speaker-phone it would echo.

If you're tired of buying headsets and you believe it's the manufacturers fault that they're breaking so soon, you can always look into some DIY (Do-It-Yourself) headsets.

Also, thanks for sharing your ideas.
