I worked on a munitions depo on base with my uncle for 5 years, I can take M4 apart and put it back together in under 45 seconds. And my spread for most bolt action rifles is 1/2 inch at 75 yards.

Your shot is pretty average, especially with a bolt action, depending on the caliber of course. Taking apart a weapon isn't a form of true weapon knowledge, it's the memorization of the build. Field stripping an M16 or an M4A1 can be taught in a day or less.

EDIT: Oh, and the spread for the BA's are without a scope

I'll give you that one, what's the rifle particularly? Maker? Caliber? My normal spread is about a 1/3 an inch at that distance with an AR-15.

AR-15, M1 Garand, M110 and a Winchester 30-06 Just for fun and just the normal Calibers 5.56, 7.62, 308.

The legality of the weapons goes by state. Most AR's and SMG's are available in my state, and many others. Weapon producers like Remington Defense, Daniel Defense, and Mossberg all sell versions of the weapons you use in video games.

I think the problem is that people are desensitized to the actual power of guns by video games. They don't gain any respect for them, and that's what you have to have to be safe around guns. Not so much fear, just wariness.

This is a .22 LR round, and it will kill you. You should be just as wary of it as you are of any of these.

Simple things, like safety usage, whether your finger should be on the trigger or the guard, and keeping the muzzle downrange are all things that are completely glossed over. I see the results all the time when a trigger-happy 13 year old first holds a handgun. Finger right on the trigger, whipping it around. Identifying guns is not very important at all in the grand scheme of things, it's that people are not respecting firearms like they used to. Usually all it takes is seeing and hearing an M1 Garand blow bits of watermelon sky-high to set them straight, though. The second you hold a gun like the M1, it all makes sense. You'll only know what I mean when you do it, and I encourage everyone to if they can.

But i understand what u know..

The first weapon I fired was a little .22 handgun. Just a little revolver, and being able to hold that and fire downrange at my target made me respect firearms. Later on, getting into AR's, .45's and shotguns really gives you a respect, you're entirely right.
