Just rung them up and they say if i buy a new xbox it wont follow the ban that i had on my old one so does that mean xbox cant ban yur ip adress

they dont ban your IP man they just ban the console and your account i think

They don't ban the IP, only the console.

Xbox doesn't ban your IP unless it was something very major. If your console was banned you can just buy a new xbox. The hdd on the banned console will work as well, they only ban the console and nothing else ( Unless you account was banned )

Sometimes they don't ban your account when your issued a console ban. It just really depends though..

You can get a new Xbox console and connect to LIVE.
