That movie is the most historically inaccurate movie about Chernobyl. Its about zombies or something.

basically there was some nuclear explosion and there is still radiation now and will be for ages, also people who lived there who survived and had babies ect and now somewhat deformed :L pretty sad though

Thats exactly where I got it from? If the poster knew any better, Instead of asking us. He couldve did what i did and go on Wiki. So I thought I would just post that. Sorry i didnt put the source. It quite self explanatory though.
