so i did an update to my computer. it was just the casual microsoft updates. bu after it updated my screen went all funny and now everything looks like it has been squashed and fattened??!
i have tried the zoom settings but nothing has changed there...

Mine looks like that anyway, I guess if you REALLY don't like it you could just uninstall the updates

Right click desktop and go screen resolution.
Change it to probably 1366x768

Open Screen Resolution by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, and then, under Appearance and Personalization, clicking Adjust screen resolution.
Click the drop-down list next to Resolution, move the slider to the resolution you want, and then click Apply.
Click Keep to use the new resolution, or click Revert to go back to the previous resolution.
