Hello TTG, I was just wondering if I should get this computer. It looks and seems great to me.

Looks can be highly deceiving. The components in this PC are years old now and have been replaced by older GTX 560's and 570's. I don't know what the person who owns this uses it for, but a server chip and board + 2 extremely loud and toasty 470's = mismatched setup. You have no upgrade options here ( old 1156 socket and already occupied 470's on some crap OCZ PSU ). You could build a 2500k / 7850 rig with brand new parts for the same price and pull around the same performance but have an actual upgrade path and more up-to-date parts.

Don't buy this as it's outdated and not worth the price you could build this pc for around $300 or build a high tech top spec gaming pc for $1000.

Its a lot better and cheaper to just build your own.
The graphics card in this is pretty old and outdated, its got a quad core processor when six cores are recommended for gaming.
It has a good amount of RAM and hard drive capacity. But those are not very important when it comes to gaming. Only 4GB of RAM is really all you need and you should be putting most of your budget into a good processor and video card.
I recommend a Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 or an AMD Radeon HD 7770 (Which is what I have and it runs amazingly). And for the processor I would recommend either and Intel i7 3930K 6-core or an AMD FX-6100 CPU.

A GTX 470 isn't that old, but there are better alternatives. Six cores are not recommended for gaming...for one, games don't even max out a 2500k so having a 3960x for example would be a waste. Also, AMD is terrible, when it comes to both CPU and their high end GPU market.

Well i have an AMD processor and video card and it runs absolutely amazingly.
Just saying from my experience with gaming PCs. And I'm not say 4 cores is bad, because its not, just if your a hardcore gamer/video editor it doesn't hurt to do a little overkill. You never know when someone will release that resource demanding game/program.
