ok so the other day me and my good friend were having a 1v1 on mw2, in the middle of it all my disc went unreadable, thinking it was my xbox i just put the disc back in and carried on, today my disc did the same thing, i took it out and looked at it, it has a lot of little scratches all over it causing it to go unreadable, i dont have space to install it and cant get a new one, any advice on how to help get rid of some of the scratches?

This might sound crazy but, take toothpaste or chap stick or vasiline and then rub it on the disk so that it is covering the whole side and then wait 5 minutes, after that rinse it so u get all of it of and then dry it with a soft cloth and put it in ur xbox

You can put toothpaste on it if it has minor scratches.

You could try toothpaste because it fills up the scratches or you could buy a disc cleaner.

You can get your disc resurfaced.. Or you can borrow a friends game and install it to your HDD.

A little dish soap and water it works for the smaller scratches. If it has deep scratches then resurface it at play n trade/ gamestop
