In minecraft I found monster spawners but unfortunatly they dont spawn the mob I want, I tried modding it and added monster spawners from the inventory editor and it only spawns pigs when im outside and when im in the dungon it spawns nothing. PLEASE HELP

That's because it's set to default that way.
There's nothing you can do about it.

Did you have torches on the walls, or any other type of light source?

So, just to clarify there's absolutely nothing I can do to get the desired mob?

No, there isn't. Only on PC you can change what mobs spawn from the mob spawners.

Not unless you find that mobs spawner, no.
