Hello,
I've been trying to do my first JTAG Hack on a Falcon, and I've burned DB1F1 and the point below, I plan on doing the AUD_Clamp wiring method now. As people seem to say it is much more stable, and is suppose to be better wiring. I saw on a tutioral for this, that you need the jumper wires if your not using the JTAG QSBs, when they say "jumper wires" does that basically mean the same as briding 2 points with a wire? I just need to know this because I would rather do direct wiring than QSBs.
Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks for reading. ;)

When you saying jumper wire, does that mean I use kynar wire and bridge the 2 points?

Can I also use the long yellow and red wire, cut them and solder them directly? Thanks for the help ;)
EDIT: Its basically the same process except instead of soldering to ROL, and DB1F1, you soldering to the bottom leg of Q2N1, and solder the other wire to the DVD Linker wire? Is this correct?

Thanks, yeah I think I know the one your talking about I bought like x100 of them, What I think I'm going to do is cut the wire from the QSBS use the alternative point underneath the board, and splice the DVD Linker wire, and solder it to that, I'll follow a tutioral and hope all goes well

Your refering to AUD_CLAMP + OPEN TRAY, I thought you said you wanted AUD_Clamp If i had to choose i would stay away from OPEN TRAY its the worst out of them all.
Aud clamp wiring is
Jumper from PIN4 - 7
J2D2 PIN1 to ALT DB1F1
J2D2 PIN 2 to Q2N1 Aud Clamp point
