I have a laptop that is great for stuff like Skype, Microsoft Office and other basic everyday programs but I am thinking of upgrading it or possibly buying a new Laptop so I can play PC games.
I tried the demo of ARMA II on my laptop and it was sligthly lagging but very fun. So I was wondering are there any good laptops for gaming or can I upgrade my own because I heard that some gaming laptops are over-rated like alienware?

I would if I could but my 5 year old half-sister got my bedroom and now I'm stuck up in this little room and there is no space for a Desktop PC just a laptop on my lap on my bed.

Kinda sucks I would of said to my mom F that why don't she get the lil room I have alot more stuff then she does.
But anyway building a gaming laptop might still cost you a penny.I would upgrade.
Depending on your model some laptops can't be upgraded (Graphic cards) So
I will start by saying what laptop I have so you can see if this is something you want todo.
Dell Inspiron 1525
This laptop cannot be upgraded when it comes to the video card.
intel core 2 duo T5750 Mobile (I had changed it from a penitum)
Ram 2gb
WIN 7 ULTIMATE
now the last thing I need is a good vid card
however (Has I said before)these types of laptops can't be upgraded so I recommend.

This is the vidock it's a external device that allows you to house a vid card:) On that page I would go with the VIDOCK 4 PLUS,why? becuz it can house the newest models of graphics cards.and also it's the newest model.Lastly I recommend getting a Nvida GTX 460 (120$).
Now if you want to play some of your games but don't want something to fancy go with he vidock3 just make sure you get a GC that can be supported with the device.
Also this device needs a external monitor for it to work.

Here is a vid about it:)
After using the vidock it works on my laptop np and I can play beast games on this thing.
Anyway hope this helps.
