Do you mind if I ask how much you spent on it all
Overall, I've spent about $974, but with all my upgrades that I'm saving up for its going to total out to about $1453
Haha, you can save your money man. I can't for my life, couldn't even think to spend that much

There are some good things about it.. I like the case. But it has its downfalls. Now most of this stuff is opinionated and could be different for everyone.
But let me just say 20gb of RAM is possibly the most ridiculous thing you could possibly invest in. Why you even had a spec of interest in such high numbers is beyond me. More or less, you just wasted money on something you don't need. You could have easily gotten 12gb of RAM and accomplished the same things.
And on top of that, look at your PSU, how to you expect to run everything on that? I mean you said you're going to add ANOTHER GPU... things might get a bit hot with everything running off of 600W when I can already assume that the 7770 requires at least 450W to run just one. So... good luck with that. You should have invested in at least an 800W+ if you planned on crossfire.
And you honestly only got 500gb of hard drive space?? And you talk about "not wanting to waste money", but you get 20gb of RAM!??! What the hell were you thinking man?! If you have a gaming PC you want a lot of space for downloading games, I don't even have a gaming pc and 750gb gets filled up quick.
As for the processor, if you were already spending so much money, you should have gone intel. You could have splurged on a top of the line intel processor, which would have gaming even better.
The PC isn't bad, but you probably overpayed for an overkill unit that you only use 50% of it's potential.

This. The PSU quality is questionable as well.

Not a very good build at all. Seriously.
Agreed, never use AMD processor's their garbage, and might want to think about doing some overclocking on that beast..
Only the Bulldozer series is.

I don't get why people are saying its a crap build and knocking your CPU
after all the thread is rate my "gaming rig" and the CPU is ample for gaming
you don't need a core i7 for gaming only multi task , encoding video , photo editing etc
the Ram is overkill you ont use over 4 for mos games and 8 for the rest
My current rig:
i7 2600k OC @ 4.1ghz
ASrock z68 fatal1ty pro gen 3
8gb hyperx Genesis 1600mhz ram (2x4gb)
Xigmatek thors hammer + x2 Xigmatek LED fans
OCZ 750w semi-modular fatal1ty PSU
Corsair F60 SSD for OS
750gb ES HDD
Ihas 124-b DVDRW
I'm pottering about with getting GPU this time round (just sold my last rig)
as the prices are dropping nicely now , want to try get a 7950
I only have i7 because I need my dolphin emulator and PCSX2 and bluray encodes when i get another Pioneer BDRW

I would bet my money that a good 95% of PC enthusiasts who know what the hell they're talking about would pick an Intel i3-2100 or the ever so popular 2500k over any AMD CPU at this point in time. It has nothing to do with the user recommending Intel over AMD because he is bias, it comes down to raw performance for the dollar and that's when AMD gets left behind, especially in gaming.
If you can get a 7950 for dirt cheap ($329.99 maybe ), go for it..but if you can't, go for a GTX 670 since it's around the same price range and pulls better FPS in some games when you put it side by side and compare to AMD's highest end 7970.
So in summary..
All AMD CPU's at this point = not a good investment at this point in time.
All high end AMD video cards = not a good investment at this point in time.

What specifically isn't very good about it?

Well now my computer handles EVERYTHING like a freakin boss
And i know it was a bit overkill on the RAM, but my life is on a computer, I want to have a freaking BA computer. I'm planning on having a total of 32GB, 3 AMD Radeon HD 7770s running on 3-way SLI mode and I might even upgrade to an 8-core.
And i don't care that Intel makes better processors than AMD, i was on a tight budget at the time and I wanted to get it done with, but I don't really care. My computer run amazingly with its AMD processor.
*3 way Crossfire, SLI is for Nvidia gpu's.
and 20GB of ram is just overkill.
