Hi, ive got a jtag able on dash 6717 how do i update it to 7371 everyone says you need that to jtag it.

you dont need to update,your dashboard needs to be 7371 or lower

:facepalm: it doesnt have to be on 7371 dash it has to be 7137 or lower :facepalm:

but on everyone's posts whos selling jtag-ables they all say its on dash .... may want to update to 7371 before jtagging, why do they say that then?

No, the reason is so that it is on the dash for the jtable, but it is fine if you just jtag it on the dash you are now, much easier and less hassle

Don't update or put a game in, I found a jasper 512mb jtag-able and put a game in and it updated :facepalm:

it doesnt update from live the disc already has the update on it, so the disc updates the console not live :facepalm:
