2)Turn on Phone

Try backing up your iPod and then restore it.
Then run the jailbreak software.

Back up your ipod. Restore your ipod in itunes. shut down itunes. reboot computer sometimes helps. make sure when you plug your ipod in itnes doesn't open. now start Absinthe. If it still doesn't see your ipod try another usb port.
