This is for people who have a jailbroken device. First get an extension called SBSettings (repo's already on the ipod). Once you have it open cydia and get some extensions such as airplane and sbsettingstoggles. Then open sbsettings and turn off everything you dont need

Next got to the preferences button and you'll see all the apps you've recently opened

Now press the red circle and the delete button will come up. Delete all the apps you aren't using (if listening to music don't delete it if; you do then your music will stop.)

Thanks for the advice! I actually had no idea you could remove things from the multitask bar. You saved me a lot of trouble and a lot of time (and hopefully a lot of battery too!!).

While making this post, and reading my own topic, i have learnt so much about my iphone as well.

I never use Bluetooth so i turned it off along with a lot other things.
