Hi TTG.
I have a major problem, my Xbox360 had this one software that i have no clue what was, it was bought second-hand. The thing with this software was that it could play burnt Xbox360 Games. (I am in costa rica, in latin-america currently on an exchange-program, and i have no clue of what kind of software came with my Xbox)The only problem with this software, it had to be updated to "software 3.0" to play the newest games... I dont know what the heck they were talking about.. But anyway, I bought a burnt version of "Dead Island" from this legit guy that has a legit shop. When i inserted the game, it said: "You have to update... blablalba... Do you want to update now?" and i pressed "yes" but then it started a system update, that was really wierd concidering it was a game and was not supposed to have some kind of system update... The issue showed up, when in the middle of this update, it stopped. and if i restart it just says "insert the CD for installing/updating the system" or some crap. I guess that means it halfway installed a xbox360 software, but didn't work...
So, TTG.. Any clue of what to do here?
And is there a way to format/reinstall the xbox system, so that i can make it work again?
PS. It was my hostbrothers Xbox... kinda feel crappy about this, so would be really nice if someone could help me out.

It is was a normal software, only thing is.. it was modded or something, i don't know. whatever someone did install to manage to play burnt games on it. But i guess the best solution here is to somehow re-install the whole system, any ideas on how to do this? with a flashdrive or something?
