Brain Age 2:More Training In Minutes A Day
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Basic information
Release Date: July, 2007
Developers: Nintendo
Publishers: Nintendo
Platforms: Nintendo DS
Genre: Edutainment
Players: 2

Synopsis
Nintendo's brain-building franchise returns for a second round of mental gymnastics in Brain Age 2: More Training in Minutes a Day. Like it's predecessor, Brain Age 2 is inspired by the work of Japanese neuroscientist Dr. Ryuta Kawashima and it features a series of quick math and reading activities designed to "increase blood flow to the prefrontal cortex." Players take part in a series of tests that determine one's "brain age," often taking advantage of the DS's unique abilities by writing with the stylus or speaking into the microphone. The ultimate goal, after weeks of training, is to lower one's brain age to 20.(All game)

Story
Nintendo thought of a game that actually makes you smarter while being fun and they achieved that goal with almost 1.1 million copies sold in July.It was it's best selling game in it's debut month.

Gameplay
It's a mental game to keep the brain stimulated to make you smarter. It includes sudoku, baseball, football, and ping-pong.First,when you start you must make a profile and you are to take three tests to see what you know. That's called a brain age.It ranges from 20-being the best to 80-being the least. When your done with that there is three catigories called sudoku, quick play, and daily training. In quick play you can choose to play any of the quick games for when you are bored.Daily training is where you can play things like baseball, football and ping-pong.It automatically saves your progress and you are able to view it at any time and you can take a test any time you would like.

Graphics
They graphics aren't on the up scale on this game because it's on nintendo DS and it was developed in 2007.It doesn't focus on the graphics,it focuses on making one smarter while being entertained. It's very generic just as a white and black screen.

PROTOTYPE 2
Overall Review
Spend one hour with Prototype 2 and youll understand exactly what is so appealing and entertaining about Activisions open-world action-adventure title.Serving as the direct sequel to 2009s Prototype, Prototype 2 brings back all of the things that made the original a hit and adds to the party, making the second go-around with the Mercer virus one of the most fun experiences of 2012 to date. Prototype 2 puts you in control of Sgt. James Heller, who returns to NYZ following a tour in Iraq to find his wife and daughter slaughtered following the second outbreak of the Mercer Virus. Heller, who is assigned to one of NYZs Red Zones, quickly comes across Alex Mercer, the first games protagonist. Heller is then infected by Mercer and the events that unfold pit the player against Mercer, Blackwatch and Gentek, with very little direction in terms of who to really trust.

Story
Prototype 2s story while fairly entertaining, does leave something to be desired, and I believe this has something to do with the lack of diversity in the mission-style format in which the single-player experience unfolds. While there are additional objectives that can be achieved during each mission, earning the player more experience and upgrades, there is never any real need to complete these extra tasks in order to finish any particular mission. Despite being a bit bland in terms of mission variety, Prototype 2 does introduce a unique story-telling method that adds a layer to consuming targets. In addition to being able top assume their identities, Heller will often advance the story and retrieve key pieces of information by absorbing key figures throughout the duration of the game. The telling of the story via memories is one of the many improvements Prototype 2 has made to enhance the overall experience. What Prototype 2 also does very well, and this is the franchises bread and butter, is make you feel nearly invincible and allow you to utilize your various powers and unique skill set in battle and while traversing NYZ. Once you are cut loose in NYZ, Heller can leap high into the air, glide from building to building, scale skyscrapers and leap over obstacles in a super-parkour style. Even when you arent playing through a mission or completing a specific task, just travelling through NYZ is a rewarding experience.

My Thoughts
Prototype 2 is one of the most fun experiences I have had with a game this year. While the story and missions at times can become a bit bland, they are engaging enough to keep gamers entertained for the duration of the game. Prototype 2 has tweaked combat and navigation to make everything more fluid and comfortable to the point where you can spend hours just wreaking havoc across NYZ without ever finding yourself overwhelmed or frustrated.

Review

This is a great game. It is my favorite game on my iphone. I love halfbrick. They have also made a nother game called Fruit Ninja. I also liked Fruit Ninja but I have all ready beat that game. JetPack JoyRide is fun because it something to work for. Nothing is just given to you some of the things in it you have to really work hard to get. But Fruit Ninja was a little but easyer to beat because there was nothing to work for. But yes I do like JetPack JoyRide and I'm still working on it. I Hope all download it.

Controls

There really are no controls in the game. You are always moving no matter what. You can't slow down and you can't speed up you stay at a constant speed forever. But by holding down on the right side of your character you will be able to move the character up and down to collect thing.

Graphics

There is not really anything wrong with the graphics Graphics rating 10/10 perfect.

Release Date: 5/15/12
Developer: Pixowl Games
Publisher: BULKYPIX
Platforms: iPhone, iPod touch, Ipad
Genre: Sandbox

Synopsis

The Sandbox is a unique powder game that provides you with your very own physics sandbox and gives you god-like powers, right on your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad! Imagine creating your own universe (complete with amazing Pixel Art), composing your own music, and much, much more. The universe is yours to create or destroy, and the only limit is your imagination!

Gameplay

When I was younger, I remember playing a unique, basic sandbox game on my moms computer that allowed you to create fire, water, electricity, blow shit up with C4...etc, and it was very addicting. The Sandbox is basically a remade, and remastered version of that game. The sandbox has three different features that include: Free Mode, Story Mode, and Gallery. Free mode gives you the freedom to do what ever it is you want weather it's building a town, building a complex system, volcano...etc. Story mode starts off as a tutorial, showing you how to play the game and such, and give's you challenges to complete for "Mana Points", which can be used to purchase different elements that you can use to complete other challenges, and use in "Free Mode". Story mode consists of 25 challenges with the promise of more challenges in the near future. And finally the Gallery, the Gallery is basically an online community of users that may share, and rate their creations made using The Sandbox. There are many other features within these game modes that you will just have to find out for yourself.
(7.5/10)

Graphics

There is not much I can say about the graphics, they do their part. The graphics of The Sandbox are very basic, pixels that co-exist with a basic physics engine. The graphics are very basic, but fit well with the game. For all you minecraft fans, you'll know what I mean.
(7.5/10)

My Final Thoughts On The Sandbox

The Sandbox is a really fun, and addictive game that really brought me back to when I use to play the old computer version. What I really love about the game, is that it has a very animated sense to it, meaning they could have gone with the absolute basic detail with the game, but chose to put more effort into it, and make it more fun. Another thing I really love about this game is, is that it's completely free! If you have an IPhone, or Ipod Touch, you should defiantly check this game out!

OVERALL RATING: 7.5/10

My Second Review

Review

I liked this game. I will say that is just another race your bike and try and not to fall game. Even know that the game is just another race your bike and try not to fall game something just made me like the game more that the other ones. This is one of my favorite games on my iphone and I injoy playing it. There is nothing to work for in the game because you have all your bike already. The only thing you actually do is try to race your time and beat the level. There are two types of it the Free and Payed the difference is that there is more levels and more bikes to chose from.

Gameplay

In this game you will be riding throw different levels trying not to fall of your bike. There are about 15 level in the game there all unlock for you. You can choose witch one you would like to ride in but the more stars on the game the harder. When you are ride there will be a few obstacles like disappearing rode so one you go over it you cant go back its gone. There is also swinging rode so on the swinging rode you will have to time everything you do. And the last is conveyor belt rode were you will have to keep moving fast to get past it. There are tons of big ramps and jumps you can also backflip and front flip.

Graphics

There is really nothing wrong with the graphics. There not the best but okay. I think how the rode looks and how the background looks are kind of crapy. But for the most part good 8.5/10 Graphics rating.

Controls

I could not find any images on the controls so I will explain them to you. All you have to do is slant you apple devise to witch direction you would like to flip. There is reverse and drive press the right side of your stick biker to move forward. And press the left side of your stick biker to move backward. There is no special boost in the game.

9/10

My Third Review

Review

Where's My Water is another one of my top 5 games on my iphone. Yes it is a puzzle it is very hard to figure out you kind of have to study you path to make sure you get where you need to be. There are tons of levels over 200 and each one has its tricks. It is alot like angry birds. In these type of games your trying to get somethings like in angry bird it is also good to have three stars. Well in Where's My Water you are going to try to collect the rubber ducks and find hidden items. I does sound a little childish but It is a really fun game to play with lots of level.

Gameply

In this game you will play as Swampy the alligator. But Swampy is no ordinary alligator because he hates being dirty. Even though all the other alligator live in nasty sewer water. Every level you play there will a puddle of water. You will use your find to cut throw the dirt to reach the pipe in swampy shower to get him clean. If the right amount of water flows into his his shower he will beat the level and be aloud to move on. You should also get the rubber ducks well your at it to get the rubber ducks you will have to navigate the water to all three ducks. When the water gets to the ducks you will have to let the water surround the duck and the duck will full up with water. When the duck is filled with water you then collect the duck. But it is not just making water flow into a pipe. Swampy's rivel Cranky is always trying to miss up Swampy's shower. So he will do things like put hardend algae in Swampy's pipe but there is a way to fix it. If you acid. There will be acid pubbles but only on the levels that you need it on. The acid will eat away the algae then you can have the water flow to his shower. If acid gets in Swampy's shower he will hope out of the shower and you will lose the level. Acid will also kill the ducks.

Midnight Club La Game Review

Midnight Club Los Angeles has a lot going for it: excellent graphics; fast, intense racing that takes place day or night; and numerous online modes that support up to 16 racers. Unfortunately, it has a few rather significant problems that hold it back, including a small roster of vehicles and gameplay that, while fun, doesn't break any new ground. But most of all, it is Midnight Club's excessive difficulty that makes it a very good racing game rather than a great one.

It's a nice car now, but it won't be by the end of the race.
There's a bit of a story, but it's the bare minimum to get you in a car to race around the streets of LA. And it is quite a version of LA. The game has a day/night cycle so you're not stuck racing at one time of day the whole time. You won't just race in sunshine, either. Some days are cloudy, and every once in awhile, the clouds unleash torrents of rain. Day or night, rain or shine, the city looks fantastic. The frame rate is steady, the action is fast, and the game's re-creation of LA is absolutely gorgeous. This slightly scaled-down City of Angels covers everything, including the beaches of Santa Monica, the Hollywood hills, and downtown. What's really neat about the city here is not only how many recognizable landmarks there are, such as the 3rd Street Promenade and LA Convention Center, but also the branded buildings, such as 7-11, Pizza Hut, Holiday Inn, and even billboards for iPods. There's certainly such a thing as too much advertising, but it's not overdone here (not every gas station is a 7-11, for example), and having these real-world businesses in the game world helps immerse you in the experience.

As with most street racing games, you drive around the city looking for people to race. When you find someone, you flash your lights, and in most cases, race to the starting line. There are time trials, checkpoint races around the city, freeway races, and races from point A to point B--pretty standard stuff for the genre. You'll also have missions where you must render payback by damaging target vehicles and deliver cars across town unscathed in an extremely short amount of time. There is a police presence, which can and will chase you down if it sees you're up to no good. Chases aren't as intense as in the Need for Speed games, but it's immensely entertaining to pull over and then watch yourself on the police car's dash-cam as you peel out when the cop approaches your vehicle.

When you finish a race, you're awarded money and respect based on your position. Respect unlocks new races, as well as new licensed cars (plus motorcycles), visual customization options, and performance upgrades. The slow way in which new cars are unlocked is most likely because of how few cars and bikes are (about 44) included. But regardless of the reason, it takes a lot of winning to gain new items, which can be frustrating when you've got money to spend and a car in desperate need of improvement.

Frustration is something you'll become accustomed to as you play Midnight Club LA. This is mostly due to the game's uneven and excessive difficulty. Other than the occasional race that lets you choose ahead of time, there are no difficulty settings. There are color-coded races that purport to be easy, medium, or hard, but quite often, the "easy" races are just as challenging as the hard ones. This "one size fits all" difficulty wouldn't have been a problem if the game were balanced, but it's not. CPU racers seem impervious to the perils of oncoming traffic. They rarely make significant contact with other cars, weaving back and forth across lanes like George Costanza playing Frogger. You, on the other hand, won't be as lucky. Even minor scrapes with cars, walls, and fences can send your car spinning and leave you facing the wrong way when you come to a stop. Parked cars are particularly hazardous because they don't have their lights on and are extremely difficult to see. Because of the amazing skill level of the CPU, even one minor error on your part can--and typically will--cost you the race. This means that you'll end up doing a lot of grinding (finding races that aren't insanely tough and repeatedly doing them over) to raise your respect level. It's tedious and doesn't make for a great time.

There are other issues that prevent Midnight Club from achieving its potential. The Google Earth-style map looks really cool as it seamlessly zooms from street level to the sky, but it's not great at showing you where to go. This is a problem because it's a map. The angle at which you view the city streets isn't very user-friendly when zoomed in, many streets aren't marked, you can't rotate it, and while you can set a waypoint marker, it won't show you the best route to take. This is a huge problem when you're racing from one spot to another without checkpoints--you must constantly pause the game and consult the map to make sure you're taking the right streets. This problem is even worse in the ridiculously punishing car-delivery minigames. Not only do you need to keep the pedal to the medal the whole time, but you have to avoid damaging the car all while pausing the game and checking the map every few blocks. Even when there are checkpoints, there is no guarantee you won't get lost. Some of these large pillars of smoke are poorly placed, and the smoke actually obscures what's behind it, making it possible to zoom right by a turn. When this happens, you might as well quit out of the race to start over because you don't get the same rubber-band assistance as the AI and probably won't recover.

The map is really cool-looking; unfortunately, it's not as useful as you might hope.
If you can look past Midnight Club's many frustrating aspects (unlockable special abilities that do things like slow down time and clear cars out of your path help alleviate some, but not all, of the problems), there's a very solid racer to be found. When the difficulty is just right (it happens occasionally), and you take advantage of the simple-yet-effective drafting mechanic, races are exciting and finishes are tight. There's also a lot of enjoyment in the game's multiplayer component, which supports up to 16 racers via system link, as well as online. You can create your own races, challenge folks who happen to be driving around to standard races, or play one of the game's unique modes, such as Capture the Flag, Team Capture the Flag, Keepaway (get a flag then keep it away from everyone), Stockpile (whoever returns the most flags to his base wins), and more. Because it's a level playing field and you don't have to deal with the AI, multiplayer is where Midnight Club is at its best. Going online also gives you the opportunity to show off your ride to the community where others can rate your car's looks and even purchase it.

Midnight Club Los Angeles is exciting, beautiful, and great when played online. It's a shame that its difficulty is so uneven, because this issue and other problems take your attention away from what is an otherwise very good racing game.
