So here is my situation,

I have soldered in a printer cable to read my nand but because this is so slow i want to be able to read/write faster so i bought a parallel to usb cable and this does not work and will not get recognised in JR or nandpro, has anyone else done this or know how to fix like installing usb drivers or something because otherwise im going to have to buy nand x or J R programmer?

cheers

I've tried this before, and it does not work. There is just no drivers for that setup to work properly. If you want to read/write faster you're gonna have to buy a usb flasher, preferably and NAND-X.

Yeah sorry about that! hope you didn't spend too much on the cable. Good luck with making your usb flasher, although i still recommend getting a NAND-X!
