My laptop will not run some of my games, or just plays them like a stop motion movie. One of my friends told me that the cheapest thing to do would be to buy a new mother board. I've looked into it and he was right, but I don't know which one to get. I have a HP G60-247CL Notebook laptop, and yes I want a gaming mother board and I could do install it myself

That would not work at all. Your friend hasn't the slightest idea what he's talking about.

^^ r00t b33r is right haha motherboard has very very low relevance unless you are only running integrated graphics(very bad) Notebooks are harder to upgrade if you haven't built one/upgraded one before, just get some more RAM/ update your video card.
EDIT: When I say "Update" I mean get a new one! and make sure it is notebook/laptop compatible!

You can't upgrade notebook graphics. More RAM will not affect gaming performance.

Remove the hinge, Detach the keyboard, remove the display assembly, remove the shell, replace the graphics card I've done it like 3-4 times it takes a good 35-45 minutes the hardest thing about it is getting a Laptop graphics card that is specifically compatible with your laptop.

It's not a card. On most laptops it's soldered to the motherboard. Some laptops have removable CPUs, but I've never heard of a removable GPU, much less the graphics chipset having its own removable daughterboard.

You may have not read this properly. This is a Notebook not a laptop.
Pretty sure they don't have removable GPUs. This isn't a big clunky gaming laptop.
