Bios is a computer term.

This is not relivent to a xbox 360, in your case the "nand.bin" image is what you call the "BIOS" being the firmware that controls all the basic funtions of the system in its entirety.

What do you mean by BIOS. Could you explain in a little more detail

...the BIOS... the boot firmware, the first code that is ran when the console is powered on.

I know there is BIOS on computers but I don't think there is a thing called BIOS on a xbox it is xell which you can start via the eject button

correct me if i am wrong

There is one on xbox, and it isnt xell....

BoSsLoBbYz wrote I just confirmed with dvdmeece there is no BIOS on xbox consoles

Ummm well whoever dvdmeece is must be in the 3rd grade, who in there right mind would think the xbox 360 doesnt have a BIOS

for what anyone is concerned about the bios on an xbox might as well not exist..... there is no known way to access it so asking questions about the bios is not going to get anyone anywhere.

Exactly, there IS a BIOS on the console, but there is no known way to access it, i knew there was one.

As this wise one has said, There is a bios on the xbox 360. There is also an Nand file. If you look at the LE edition Slim consoles, the Sounds that are used when boot up, eject, etc. Is stored in the bios and played threw an on board speaker.

dvdmeece pretty much said there is one but theres no way of getting to it yet

I agree with him because of my research

Mafia5k thinks hes right

You didnt even know what a BIOS was so your just agreeing with what mafia says
