I am purchasing a soldering station and I figured I need some solder as well considering I am going to be rgh'ing my xbox I want to get the best solder for the best quality.

It doesn't really matter to be honest, but i personally use leaded along with Kingbo flux - the flux is probably more important than the solder! I've never really used tinner, but it does the same job as the solder itself, just tinning your tip each time you use the iron...
