Does anyone know how to choose the proper cooling fan for your computer? Or can you just buy any type and install it?

i wouldn't go that cheap on cooling fan just go for well know brands and you should fine

As i am aware , you can buy any although there is of course the cheap and nasty and then the more expensive stuff but will last longer and might work better.
I would reccomend investing in a better fan.

If it is the processor cooler itself go for a hyper 212+
