There isn't a think which one is better. The HD-PVR is the best hands down.

I have a dazzle, and its not bad. But if you have enough for a pvr I strongly suggest it, they have amazing quality...Try to find one from a site, not a retail store as they will be double the price.

People who say "nobody watches videos in SD any more" does not really no what they are talking about. It may be just be me but a lot of the time I am not bothered whether I should put the quality up. Both capture cards render in HD 1080p but record in different qualities. On youtube the hd option is there regardless of the capture card. Dazzles are good not just because I have one but because for the price they are brilliant (especially if you only record occasionally).

But you can get a Dazzle, Roxio, Black Magic(Like PVR But cheaper!)
