Okay so my Xbox 360 S (Halo: Reach Edition) has a problem with the DVD drive. Whatever it is, the Xbox won't boot up if the DVD drive is connected to the motherboard, otherwise, if I disconnect it, it works fine. I had problems with the DVD drive and I'm almost CERTAIN I caused this problem. Some plastic bracket looking piece was loose inside my DVD drive and was jamming it from closing, and also trying to scratch discs. I had been banging on the xbox to get it settled, then one day, the bracket was sticking out, so I removed it (it was already broken off). After this I had to continue banging to get it to work, but then it just wouldn't start up at all (after the console was opened i think)

So i was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this, I do have a new xbox, but I like the Halo: reach one more
