On the main Minecraft screen I seen one of the yellow messages in the upper right hand corner that said "Secret update Friday". Did anyone else see this?

it has said that since the game came out, it most likely means that the update will be on a friday

That was for pre-alpha stages on the computer. They no longer have that, those are just random messages.

The xbox 360 version is on 1.6.5.
