Okay i have a 16" moniter and i wana buy this from my friend [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Its reccomended resolution is 1440x900

I know a 7850 can go higher, is this resolution just reccomended or can it go to 1920x1080?

It Can but the it will be off center and you will be able to see 2/3 of the picture

Shouldn't be off-center at all, but you're trying to force a higher pixel-density onto a panel with lower density. Basically, it will not work at all and you should keep it on native resolution or get a decent monitor.

Monitors are pretty cheap if you want 1920x1080 just buy a nice 21-22" monitor.
