DeviateFX wrote Coming From Me i have nothing but alienware. its good specially with the warranty i mena they come really fast when you need help step by step and the **** is fast i have a laptop and desktop but i usually use my alienware aurora r4 total everything custom built it cost $3,750.00

Alienware is simply awful. You can ask anyone who even has a shred of sense and they will tell you the same. I highly doubt the reliability of your posted price for a custom build. It is literally impossible for a custom build to be more expensive than a pre built Alienware. I feel bad for you mid-tier gaming performance and hope you(r parents) enjoyed overpaying about $300-$500.

I would go for a Mac because I have always liked the layout and they are extremely fast, but it's all up to you...

Well i'm confused. If you already have a desktop, then why do you exactly want a laptop? If your desktop suits all your needs then you have two options: 1) Save them money dude! 2) Upgrade your desktop you have now with some new parts and make it runs even better!

Either way, try to save the most money. If you honestly HAVE to get a laptop, I would go with Dell. I'm not familiar with laptops personally, but Dell is a strong brand. HP would be another good laptop company.

I think that the mac is better because it doesn't get viruses but alien ware is great for gaming and more customizable

iRapiidZxSWAG wrote Well I was really just wanting a laptop that looks good for video editing and browsing..any suggestions?

For the amount of money you use on a laptop, you can build a PC with 2x more power: better edits, faster rendering times etc. You can also play games like BF3 with Ultra graphics too.
