Hey guys, I have never upgraded anything on my computer. I have an HP computer with the Intel g33/g31 graphics card. I need to upgrade to a new one for diablo 3. What is a cheap graphics card that will run diablo at a decent fps? If you need any more info on my computer please tell me.

What kind of budget do you have, also any preference to AMD or Nvidia?

If you can give me a idea as to how much you would like to spend , that will narrow it down

If you want an AMD card then i would recommend a HD7770, there about 100-120 and should do what you want. I just wouldn't recommend getting a VTX3D one tho. Buy sapphire if you can.
But you also need to check the specs and make sure that you have a good enough PSU as well.

What is your computer? First I need to be sure the upgrade is even possible. No sense in getting a graphics card if it's incompatible.

What model number is your PC? This will enable us to find out what we need to know.
But a 550ti should be good for Diablo 3, as the game is so well optimized.
To run a 550ti you will need 1 PCIe 2.0 x16 slot, a 450-500w PSU and adequate air flow in your case to allow the card to breathe. Also you will need a good enough processor so it won't bottle neck the card, but as long as you have a fairly high clocked dual core processor you should be good to go as the 550ti is a extremely high end card.

Looks like a 250 watt PSU. No upgrade possible with that wattage, you'll have to upgrade the power supply, too.
