Basically, you can auction off custom cars for credits in the auction house, and you can also buy cars people have made.

But if u action a car for a sertain retail value then another player can find ur car and bid on it.
Bid can be increased every time another player bids on ur action.
Buyout is were the player can spend the max money to get the car right away. Hope that i helped u.
