Hey everyone, I'm getting a reballed Jtag in the mail on Thursday and plan on making this wood case for it. I have only designed the top, and right now it is not the right size (I think?). Right now this is just a proof of concept. I plan on putting some engravings on the other panels (Possibly with a laser engraver if I get it soon), adding fans to the heatsinks, and putting red LEDs all inside the case. The triangles you see on this top panel will have plexiglass underneath. I will post all of my updates in this thread, and I am looking to hear your thoughts and ideas. As of now I don't know what wood I will use. Most likely a dark exotic. Thanks! (Ignore the chunks of wood in the triangles, my program wont let me delete it. Those will obviously be gone in the final design.) Oh, the HDD will be internal too.

A clear DVD window, and a few other odds and ends.

Would be good if you could get steel like Aluminium, stainless steel cnc machined then pressed/bent to fit.

In order to catch on fire wood has to be over 120 degrees if the xbox gets to that temperature it will fry before it catches on fire

wood is a very risky move regardless of the console type jasper falcon ect they still heat up and could end up with a potential fire hazard i like the design though try a wood like finish on a xbox case perhaps ?
