Ok I'm thinking of getting a laptop...I was wondering if a dell inspiron 15 or 15r was a good decision? If not can u please recommend one that has good performance speed and style for around $500

Good T420 with a 1600 x 900 panel for $540. Wait until later today, though, a new line of Thinkpads is being released TODAY!

The computer you are talking about looks good to me. It is more of an in-between computer if you ask me. Good for regular computing and some heavy tasks, but not really gaming or video editing.

it depends. the ultimate factor in buying a computer is your price range. I would do some more shopping, and see if you can find a laptop that is higher powered from the same price.

btw, dell's are known to fail
