It does not cause arthritis. I crack my knuckles and my neck in front a people all the time and it creeps them out lol. All you do is pop air bubbles. If you do it hard to the point where you break your fingers, sure, it's bad for you.

I can do this thing with my fingers and the part below them and make it sound like I'm cracking my knuckles. That just proves they're only air bubbles. The arthritis story is a myth.

My bad habit is probably biting my nails. I only crack my knuckles when I want to and it's not bad. I hate biting my nails. I also bite the skin around them.
