I'm working on something for college, and I wanted to add a title with the same text as Killzone 2's cover (not the font, just the textured effect)

Anyone with a bit of photoshop experience superior to mine want to give me an idea of what to do? what textures and blending etc?

Thanks

First off it's not normal text, download the font online and use Cinema 4D to create a very thin 3D text. Then throw on an overlay or two and you'll be pretty close.

you don't need overlays create the text, in cinema 4d set the depth to about 10, Create the texture in photoshop or simple crop out a sqare of the texture from the text in Photoshop and save as a jpg or png, Doesn't matter. Then import it into the color Tab in the materials in Cinema 4d Add about a 30 Strength bump to it, and then drag it into the Text, Shortly Following select the material and go down to the tags section, Then set the material to Cubic. And play witht he offset values until it looks right.
