Can anyone help me, I have the red ring of death. It is the E73 error. Does anyone know how i can fix it without opening up my xbox? I have tried the towel trick and paper clip tricks and they dont work. Ill +rep as much as i can to whoever can help me get it working again.

For starters, check the error code.
Hold the sync button and press the eject button.

1 Lights = 1
2 Lights = 2
3 Lights = 3
4 Lights = 0

When you get your error code, look it up.

I would not suggest doing any methods like the "Towel Trick", these do more damage then they do good.

I had the red rings, saw this video on youtube, it said slap the left side.

Next thing you know I was laughing cause it fixed it

e73 mostly has something to do with the AV cables, try new ones or make sure they are in properly. The only other way is to fix it interenally

Just send it to the xbox repair center, if your console is under warranty, they'll do it for free.

When it happened to me i hit the xbox on the top and it started working lol
