i'm getting this game and i was wondering if it had theater mode, private matches, or other cool stuff

Although it does have a co-op mode where 2 of you can enjoy on various missions through the game. This mode can also allow access to guns online which are unassailable through conventional online experiences.

No, it does not have a theater mode. But for private matches, you could simply join an empty server to mess around in.
