Okay so before I go into this I just want to say, please don't recommend Tritton headsets. I've tried the new 2012 Ax 720's and Ax Pro's and like usual the sound quality is strongly lack, and yes I do know they're coming out with fully wireless detonators but I've had an overall bad experience with Mad Catz and Tritton products in general.

Getting into the questions in which I'm in a conundrum over, but first let me talk about my experience with headsets. So, I started using headsets in 2008 so I could be on the same level as other Major League gamers, and yes my GB team at the time was ranked 9 in the US and 3 in the UK, we placed 2 in Orlando. I was officially, at the time, an MLG Pro. Getting back on track, I had used just about every Turtle Beach headset that was out at the time. Around late September my Dad had committed suicide and I went in to mild depression, I didn't talk to anyone, I didn't do anything, I just sat around watching TV.

Around the time MW2 came out I tried to get back into games but I ended up not liking the game and went back to where I started, Halo. I just used my 2 - 3 year old turtle beach that still worked. When Halo Reach had came out I decided to use the X12's because I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a headset. To this day I'm still using that headset and I'm ready to drop $250.00 to $300.00 on a new one. What should I purchase?

So here's where the conundrum comes in. I know I'm either going to get the Astro A40's or the Astro A50's but the Astro A50's are completely wireless and I sit next to my TV whereas I don't need them to be. My router also sits next to my TV and I heard that with Wireless Headset's there might be an interruption. Which headset should I get.
