If you get reported lots now you will just get banned.

no, they patched this like 2 years ago, if they report your profile for inappropriate GT and its fake, they suspend your account for like a week.

microsoft checks if your gt is weird and if it is, they tell youi to change it but if its not, they dont do anything

If they report your gamertag microsoft will investigate it and if it's against the code of conduct then they will take the proper actions
If your gamertag is offensive then they'll make you change it
