TimeSplitters Future Perfect
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Release Date: March 21, 2005
Developer: Free Radical Design
Publishers: EA Games
Genre: First-person shooter
Rating: MA15+
Platform: PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube
Overview
TimeSplitters Future Perfect is the third game in the TimeSplitters series, after TimeSplitters 2, which was released in 2002 (itself the sequel to TimeSplitters released in 2000). The game features a single-player mode consisting of levels where the player assumes the role of Sergeant Cortez, a time-traveling marine from the 25th century, as he attempts to go to the past to save the future. The game also includes a range of multiplayer options including cooperative mode. Online play was included in both the PlayStation 2 and Xbox versions. This is also the first Timesplitters game in the series to receive an "M" rating by ESRB.
Story
The game follows Sergeant Cortez, a space marine, picking off where TimeSplitters 2 left off, in a spaceship heading back to Earth with Time Crystals, that have the ability to travel back in time. Cortez arrives to see mysterious never before seen enemies trying to kill him and the other marines. He is also encountered by TimeSplitters, a monstrous race that kill anything in their path. Cortez's job is to travel back in time to discover the source of the crystals and who created the TimeSplitters. Throughout the game, you meet new acquaintances wherever you travel. To 1920's, 1990's, 2070's. even the 2400's! This game has many twists and events which will make the entire TimeSplitters series make sense to the player.
Gameplay
The gameplay wasn't hard to get used to and was fun and exciting for the player. The game is known for the comedy in it and the ridiculous missions and characters in the game. The multiplayer was very good too, with plenty of game types, over 100 playable characters and been able to drive cars and control turrets. TimeSplitters influenced many of the leading games today.
Graphics
In 2005, the graphics were amazing to all console players. But today, people would laugh at them compared to todays. The facial textures and guns were very well done and map layouts were excellent at the time. Infact, the engine used for TimeSplitters was a prototype for the engine used in Crysis 1 and 2.
Controls
The controls were nearly the same as most FPS games today, but had more features. You could carry more then 2 weapons and to cycle through them, you pressed left or right on your D-Pad and up or down on certain weapone to slightly modify them.
Some extra facts
The company that developed TimeSplitters Future Perfect, Free Radical were bought out by Crytek a few years after the release of the game. Many of the developers of the TimeSplitters series began work on Crysis, which became a major success. In 2007, the sequel was announced but then Free Radial were bought out. Development stalled but reports in 2011 stated it was back in development but in April 2012, Crytek announced that production for TimeSplitters 4 had been cancelled.
Overall
TimeSplitters Future Perfect is one of my all time favorite games and as I mentioned earlier, it inspired most of todays FPS games. The story and features in the game is what made it stand out. It was a very underrated game but did make success.
Gameplay: 8/10

Story: 10/10

Game Information
Release Date: Dec. 3rd, 2001
Developers: Masahiro Sakurai
Publishers: Nintendo
Platforms: GameCube
Genre: Fighting
Rating: T
Synopsis
The fighters are back from the original Super Smash Bros N64, are more ready than ever! Yet this time they are back with better graphics and more friends to enjoy the game as.
Gameplay
In SSBM they allow you to have fun in many different ways while play by yourself. Theres Classic Mode which allows you to go through lots of different stages until you have to reach a boss. Adventure mode which I find more difficult then Classic mode, because you have to choose your amount of lives and there are different stages. All Star mode which I find that its more secretive than others because you have to unlock every single hidden character to get this. Event mode where you face different characters in different stages, and the challenges get progressively harder as you get higher up. Stadium mode where you can play from 3 different minigames (Target Test, Home Run Contest, and Multi Man Melee). Last but not least Training mode where you can practice agianst anyone youve unlocked in any place you can play on (simple).
Now for multiplayer! In multiplayer you dont have as much to choose from like on singleplayer but you can edit the game mode to play even more with your friends. In Versus mode you can play regular, or you can play with coin mode, bonus mode, time battle, stock battle, camera mode, fixed camera mode, stamina mode, super sudden death mode (my favorite), single button mode, giant melee, tiny melee, invisible melee, lightning melee, slo mo melee (camera mode-slo mo melee are special melees)
Setting
In SSBM the multiplayer has a variety of different stages that you can play on with your friends or even by yourself! There are 10 stages that are given to you when you start the game and 8 stages that you have to unlock to play. The 18 the are given to you are;

Thank you strategywiki.org for the map info
Graphics
Of course since this game was released in 2001 they arent going to look like your new CoD or Halo game! Yet Nintendo does a great job of showing off their artistic abilities, and if you compare Melee to the original Super Smash it's a big improvement. So for the fact that it came out 11 years ago I think it looks great!
Controls
The controls of melee are mainly the same of the original controls of super smash bros. L and R is shield, pause is to pause, X and Y allow you to jump, A attacks, B is the characters special move, Analog Stick moves the character, D Pad taunt, and C is to zoom in/out or smash. I think the controls were easy as a young beginner, and are not to difficult for gamers of all ages to master

Overall Rating 9/10 - An awesome classic that is loved by lots

GamePlay
This is a Future based game. Everything is based on and in the future. It is a 3rd person shooter that can be changed by looking down the iron sights. This means you aim with the 4 cross hairs. I think that this gives this game a good effect other then all the other normal first person shooters. The game play is AMAZING. Theres so much to say about it. It is fast paced warfare. The maps are perfect most are not too small there more bigger but still keep u in the action 24/7. The spawning is, u are in a squad with 3 teammates that u can spawn on. This makes team work a big help for victory. There is sooo much customization available. You can change anything ua want on your gun. The color, barrel, fire(single, burst, full), stock, iron sights, and much more. This game has no glitches that i have seen or encountered yet. Nothing is OP or just unbeatable. The campaign is good too. It is decently long and answer a lot of questions. It will keep u entertained for awhile.
Graphics
The graphics on this game are decent. There not amazingly good but not terrible. The terrain is very realistic. I like that about this game. Very good details put in to this game like on your gun and other players. The graphics help when u see some terrain being destroyed. The map graphics outstanding because there is so much detail on the walls, buildings, streets, mini map, and much more.
Controls
The worst thing about the game is the controls. They are really hard to use. It takes some time to get use to but then it gets easier. Its hard because every button does something and u toggle things and its confusing. The sprint is the the buttons and not the analog sticks. Thats something that takes getting used to. Its the regular buttons to shoot and switch weapons(i only know for console).
Multiplayer Details
This is what i bought the game for. It went over the top in my expectation for it. Doesn't get boring at all after hours of game play. Theres so much u can change on ur character to keep the game fun for a long time. You can fly around a drone and spot people for your team mates. There is no level up ur character like in COD or battle field. You level up ur class to unlock things. The higher u get the more u unlock like guns, special grenade, special bullets, and head gear. Some of the maps look like old call of duty maps which i like a lot. The guns are still the same assault rifles, sun machine guns, snipers, heavy machine guns, pistols, and specials. The specials are stun guns and bulb lights. These stun and disable opponets.A special feature is data hacking ur opponets. You have to disable them and go up to them and steal there info. Then u see the whole enemy team for 1 minute.
My rating
I give this game a 9 out of a 10. theres really nothing wrong with it except the controls. You need to pick up this game. Its so worth it. My final thought on this game is that its so worth $60 and u get bonus items if u pick it up at gamestop like u get the ACR. Also DLC is coming out in summer of 2012 for VERY VERY cheap prices around $5. If u liked gears of war 3 u will like this too and if u didn't like it u should also get it because it puts a twist on 3rd person shooters.
is this good or should i add stuff ill take any advice and will do it

Nice review, very well organized overall and nothing is copied and pasted. If anything, I would definitely add more detail on the rating of each aspect of the game, e.g. Graphics - Well designed, Sleek overall or
Gameplay - Fun, But at Times Repetitive.
Something like that would definitely work, and would make the review more eligible for publication; very nice overall though

Soulcalibur IV
Game Information:
Release Date: July 29, 2008 (NA) August 1, 2008 (UK)
Developer: Project Soul
Publisher: Namco Bandai
Platforms: Xbox 360, Playstation 3
Genre: Fighting
Players: 2-4 online multiplayer, 2 player split-screen
Age rating: ESRB: Teen PEGI: 16+

Synopsis (IGN+some additions):
From Namco's acclaimed weapon-based fighting series comes the fourth chapter in the series. Delivering new gameplay modes, characters and enhanced features with unprecedented 3D modeling and animation, Soulcalibur IV aims to be a definitive fighting game experience. Create! use the Character Creation to make your own custom made characters!
Gameplay:
Welcome to the world of Soulcalilbur IV! Soulcalibur IV(I'll call it SC)is sorta like your basic fighting game. SC incorporates a 8-way moving system, making it a almost 3d game. The fighting is very smooth. Each character features different fighting styles, such as broadswords, nunchakus, staves, and even swords encased in umbrellas!
Graphics:
The graphics in SC are your basic 2008 "next-gen" graphics not bad, so it's not "game ruining". SC shows it greatness in other ways.
Controls:
The controls for SC are very basic. SC has three main attacks, Horizontal, Vertical, and Kicks. You combine these attacks, with directions to make devastating combos to crush your opposition. Including blocks, there is also impacts, basically parries to knock your opponent back, if used at the right time. The controls in general are very natural, and easy to use.
Story :
In SC the main conflict surrounds two mysterious swords, the pure Soulcalilbur, and the evil Soul Edge. People all over the global take up arms to fight for there causes, some good, some also evil.
Singleplayer:
In SC, you are most likely to start the singleplayer first. SC has four singleplayer modes, Story mode, Arcade, Tower of Lost Souls, and finally we have Training. Story mode as you guessed is the story, chose a character fight in eight stages then done, not a very long story but SC has its fair share of modes, Arcade is a ranked game mode that tracks how fast and how much you can score in eight stages of increasingly difficult characters, Tower of Lost Souls might be the main singeplayer, here you use your created characters to ascend a tower, with many challenges on each floor, also you can "descend" which is essentially SC "survial" type mode, fighting increasingly difficult enemies with out gaining health between stages. At last we come to Training, this where you will sit and learn your characters moves top to bottom.
Multiplayer:
Multiplayer in SC, like most fighting games, is the core of the game. Online its beat or be beaten kind of world, you have the average joes, and the Elite pros. Multiplayer consists of ranked matches, and player matches. In player matches up to four people can be in a lobby, two people fight while the other two sit back and watch. Ranked matches are where most of the elites reside, if you win against your opponent you win some gold, and some experience for leveling.
Rating:
So looks look back. Story mode, story mode in a fighting game aren't your big blockbuster story games. Tower of Lost Souls, Very fun game mode, fun to come back to "descend". Arcade, challenging at sometimes, has a bit of replay value but its good in my books.Than we have multiplayer, the greatness of the game, challenging players, easy average joes. So if you are a fan of fighting games, this game is for you, if not I don't think its. Pick up Soulcalilbur 4 at your local store for $20. I give Soulcalilbur 4 nine raging noobs out of ten
9/10

Reviews
Please also include the game cover art

Plot
The game begins with your character later known as Raz Karcy waking up from a 'deep freeze'. He has no memory and does not know where he is or what he is doing there. After finding the thermometer to turn up the heat and finding a vest to keep yourself warm you find a AI computer chip and place it in the robot that is named my Raz as Pipo. You and Pipo continue on doing several puzzles along the way. After you complete a few puzzles you then come to your first encounter, because you have no useful weapons Pipo steps in and try's to help and then gets killed by the Zombie. You finally kill the zombie then you go over to Pipos dieing machinery and take back the AI chip. After continuing for a while you start to here a woman screaming, You shout to her and try to find out where she is but she just keeps screaming. After you find her you see that she is being attacked by another zombie. After you kill the zombie she say's her name is Milly and she continues with you through the building. You then continue through and solve more and more puzzles along the way. After getting to a specific part in the game it is revealed that a man is watching Raz ans Milly through the cameras in the building. He explains to another AI Computer that he wants Milly alive and want's Raz dead. Towards the end of the game after traveling across a river with a floating vehicle you and Milly are then attacked by a zombie, after killing the zombie Milly and Raz are then attacked by the man that was watching the camera screens earlier in the game. He knocks out Raz and takes Milly. After Raz wakes up again where he was attacked he goes into the elevator at proceeds to where Milly is. When he finds Milly he then finds out that he is a clone and that the man watching the cameras through the game is the real Raz Karcy. The real Raz tries to take Milly but she tells him that she loves the fake Raz Karcy. The real Raz Karcy then gets angry and turns into a monster like enemy. After the real Raz Karcy set's the self district the real Raz and the clone are locked in a face to face fight. After you defeat the real Raz you then place the AI Chip from Pipo into the Main computer then asks him to open the door to the vehicle station. Raz and Milly then run to another lift, while in the lift the evil Raz jups and grabs hold of the life. After Raz shhots him off Milly and Raz run to a jet plane as Milly boards the evil Raz appears again. After the two fight again the clone takes the real Raz the the back on the jet and tells Milly to take off. The real Raz is then insinuated. With Raz and Milly in the jet they take off out of the Facility. The building blows up in the background.
Graphics
This game being one of the first 3-D survival horror games the graphics on it are really poor and really dont look good at all. But as bad as the graphics are you can still tell what objects are what and you are not normally confused when playing.
Controls
The controls are kind of basic and you dont get confused with them. There is an option in game to switch between 1st and 3rd person which helps with some puzzles.
Review
It is a fun enjoyable game with puzzles that can test your mind at times. Though the graphics are bad this can be excused for the fact that it was one of the first 3-D Survival Horror Games and the fact that it was a PS1 game. Overall the game is really fun and you can get addicted to it if you prefer Survival Horror Games. If you like the classic games this you will definitely enjoy this game.
