Well I had this same problem. The default_mp.xex is probably not patched to the new TU. So just find a working default_mp file and you should be good.

Oh, well I downloaded it off the patch list on here, apparently those don't work then, does anyone have the latest TU they don't mind posting here?

I have these files code_post_gfx.mp, patch_mp.ff, and default_mp.xex if I need another file in order to run it please message me via AIM or message a link below.

Ah, well I keep putting new patches onto it with no luck of success, if anyone host cod 4 would they mind if they gave me there modded files? Be very appreciated if so.

Did you put the tu in ur cache?

Oh no I have all the Games In a folder called GAMES thats in the same folder as cache, applications, content, etc.

The GAMES folder has subfolders called COD 4, and MW2 and MW2 works fine.

By accident the COD 4 has a subfolder the subfolcer contains all the extracted files and patch_mp.ff, default_mp.xex, code_post_gfx.mp also.
