You could go around your neighborhood and ask people if they need their lawns mowed. Or help around your house for a allowance.

Find family members that need help around the house, or just help in general. Or you could consider baby sitting for parents friends. If those dont work out i would consider trying to work for a local store, as a cashier or something around that area.

i dont know anywhere that hires 14 year olds but i do work with my dad get around 20 - 40 GBP per weekend, just look for work within the family

Well, your best bet is with some sort of local shop, a newsagent maybe? If your lucky enough to leave near a used car shop (Not a dealership, no way they would hire a 14 year old) then seek work washing cars there, I used to get paid for every car I washed. Or you could wait another year and seek work in a different type of store, a pet shop maybe? All I can say is when I was 14 it wouldn't really be a concern for me, I only ever tried work at that age when I wanted to purchase something that needed that extra bit of cash, just work within the family for a year is my final advice ;)
