I don't know much about GPUs, but I got this a month or two ago, and does the job for me, I can play BF3 with it and get 50-60 FPS, and I get constant 100+ FPS on most CoDs.

Here's a gameplay video:

It doesn't handle Ultra very well...

One of my friends recommended this to me, as well, if your budget allows it:

I would suggest asking Generation or r00t_beer, they know their stuff.

I see you made a new topic. Stretch that budget by a few bucks and get this:

It's worth it.

It's a pretty decent card and only requires a single 6 pin and fits your budget

Why a 6850 when he's able to afford a 6870? Assuming he has an appropriate case, an open PCIE 16 x slot, and a half decent PSU this would be the best card he can get.

This is the PSU I'm going to get so i'm pretty sure it'll be good enough, right?

Save yourself $17 and get yourself that, then with the $17 you saved get a 560 TI like r00t_b33r suggested.
